What we collect, why we collect it, and how we care for what you share.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Our commitment

The 717 Revival Center is a faith community, and the information you share with us is handled as a matter of trust and pastoral care. We collect only what we need to serve you, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details — the display name, email address, and password you provide when creating an account, or the basic profile details shared by Google if you sign in with it.
  • New member intake — the contact and background details you submit on the intake form.
  • Ministry activity — Bible notes, bookmarks, highlights, study progress, course enrollments and lesson completions, quiz attempts, and learning goals tied to your account.
  • Community participation — prayer requests, comments, partner circle membership, and event or gathering RSVPs.
  • Giving records — a record that a gift was initiated and the method chosen. Payments are completed by third-party providers; we do not receive or store your card, bank, or wallet credentials.
  • Optional contact preferences — phone number and SMS opt-in, if you choose to provide them.

3. How we use it

We use your information to create and secure your account, provide Bible study and E-Campus features, respond to prayer requests and pastoral needs, coordinate events and programs, acknowledge and steward giving, keep ministry records, and communicate with you about the life of the church. We contact you by text only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Prayer requests and sensitive shares

Prayer requests may be submitted publicly to the prayer wall or kept private with leadership. Anything you post publicly can be read by other members, so please share only what you are comfortable making visible. Private requests are handled by ministry leadership for prayer and care. We may share details outside that circle only with your permission or where required by law, including situations involving a risk of serious harm.

5. Children and youth

Online accounts are intended for adults and for youth with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided information without parental consent, contact us and we will remove it.

6. Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to host our site and database, deliver email, supply scripture text, and process gifts. They may handle your information only to provide those services. Their own privacy practices apply to what they process, including payment services such as Cash App and Zelle. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. Security and retention

Member data is stored in access-controlled systems, and private content such as your notes and personal records is restricted to your account and, where needed, authorized ministry leadership. No online system is perfectly secure. We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed for ministry and recordkeeping purposes.

8. Your choices

You may review or update your profile, delete your own notes and posts, opt out of SMS or email communications, and request that we correct or delete your account information. Contact us and we will respond as promptly as we can.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to keep the site working properly. Basic usage counts, such as how many times an article has been viewed, may be recorded to help us serve the community better.
